Storyboard Studio Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 7, 2026 · Last Updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Storyboard Studio, including storyboard-studio.ai and its related applications, artificial-intelligence generation tools, subscriptions, credits, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
Storyboard Studio is operated by Mini Motion Film LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Mini Motion Film,” “Storyboard Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or credits, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Storyboard Studio.
By using the Service, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity occurring through it.
You agree to provide accurate account information and not to share access in a manner that circumvents account restrictions, subscriptions, generation limits, security controls, or other Service limitations.
You must notify us at support@storyboard-studio.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Storyboard Studio Services
Storyboard Studio provides tools for developing and producing visual media using artificial intelligence and related technologies.
Features may include screenplay processing, storyboard creation, Scene Cards, character and location references, AI-assisted project analysis, image generation, video generation, reference-based generation, project collaboration, generation history, and other creative-production tools.
Features, models and providers may be added, modified, replaced or discontinued as the Service evolves.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the scripts, screenplays, images, audio, videos, prompts, characters, reference materials and other content you upload or submit to Storyboard Studio (“User Content”).
You grant Mini Motion Film LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, transmit, convert, process and otherwise use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide the Service, including transmitting it to third-party providers that perform AI generation, storage, hosting, authentication or related processing.
This license does not transfer ownership of your underlying User Content to Mini Motion Film LLC.
5. Your Responsibility for Uploaded Content
You represent that you own, license or otherwise possess the rights and permissions necessary to upload and process your User Content through Storyboard Studio.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of copyrighted works, trademarks, likenesses, voices, characters and other protected material complies with applicable law.
Storyboard Studio does not grant you rights to third-party material merely because the Service is technically capable of processing it.
6. AI-Generated Content
Subject to these Terms and applicable third-party provider terms, you may use output generated through Storyboard Studio for personal or commercial purposes.
However, AI-generated material presents unique legal and technical considerations. Storyboard Studio and Mini Motion Film LLC do not guarantee that generated content:
- qualifies for copyright or other intellectual-property protection;
- is unique or exclusive to you;
- will not resemble material generated for another person;
- is free from third-party intellectual-property claims;
- is factually accurate;
- will satisfy a particular distribution platform's requirements; or
- is suitable for any particular commercial purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing generated output before publishing, distributing, licensing or commercially exploiting it.
7. AI Providers
Storyboard Studio uses third-party technology providers to perform certain AI and infrastructure functions.
Depending on the feature used, User Content may be processed by providers including Base44, ModelsLab, WaveSpeed, OpenAI and other AI services made available through our infrastructure.
Availability, generation times and output quality may therefore depend on third-party services outside our direct control.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Storyboard Studio to create, upload, distribute or facilitate content or activities that:
- violate applicable law;
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- exploit or sexually depict minors;
- contain non-consensual intimate imagery;
- fraudulently or deceptively impersonate another person;
- distribute malware or malicious code;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data;
- probe, bypass or defeat Storyboard Studio's security, credit, rate-limit or generation controls;
- interfere with the operation of the Service;
- use automated methods to abuse or overload the Service;
- obtain unauthorized access to another customer's projects or files; or
- use the Service for fraudulent or otherwise unlawful activity.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.
9. Subscriptions
Storyboard Studio may offer paid membership plans, currently including Creator, Pro and Studio, along with a Free plan and certain Legacy arrangements.
Paid subscriptions may automatically renew until cancelled.
Prices, included credits, features and plan availability may change prospectively. Changes will not retroactively alter purchases already completed except where required for operation of the Service or by law.
Cancellation of a paid subscription generally leaves paid access available through the end of the applicable billing period.
10. Generation Credits
Certain Storyboard Studio features consume generation credits.
Different AI models, generation types and durations may consume different numbers of credits.
Membership credits may reset according to the applicable billing cycle. Purchased Credit Packs are added to the user's generation-credit balance and currently have no separately implemented expiration mechanism.
Credit requirements may change prospectively as provider costs, models and Service capabilities change.
Credits:
- have no cash value;
- cannot be transferred between users unless Storyboard Studio expressly provides such functionality;
- cannot be redeemed for cash; and
- are usable only within Storyboard Studio.
11. H3 Unlimited and Promotional Features
Storyboard Studio may offer promotional or plan-specific unlimited-generation benefits, including H3 Unlimited.
“Unlimited” does not mean unlimited simultaneous processing capacity. Technical concurrency restrictions, queues, rate limits, abuse protections and provider availability may still apply.
Promotional access may be limited by plan, eligibility period or other conditions disclosed with the promotion.
12. Credit Packs
Storyboard Studio currently offers optional Credit Packs in multiple quantities. Purchases are processed through Stripe.
The quantity and price presented during checkout control the applicable purchase.
Purchasing credits does not guarantee permanent availability of a particular AI model or provider.
13. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe.
Storyboard Studio does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
You authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method associated with your purchase or recurring subscription.
You are responsible for applicable taxes, charges or fees where required.
14. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Mini Motion Film LLC, purchases are generally non-refundable once purchased generation credits or corresponding services have been used.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or experienced a billing error, contact: support@storyboard-studio.ai
We may review refund requests individually.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal but does not automatically constitute a refund for the current billing period.
15. Generation Failures
AI generation relies on automated systems and third-party providers and may occasionally fail, time out, become unavailable or return unusable results.
Where Storyboard Studio's system recognizes a qualifying failed generation, applicable credit handling may occur according to the Service's implemented credit rules.
We do not guarantee that every generation attempt will produce a particular result.
16. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Third-party providers, maintenance, outages, rate limits, model availability, infrastructure problems and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect the Service.
Generation times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
17. Storage and Generated Media
Storyboard Studio provides storage and generation-history features as part of the Service, but it should not be treated as your sole permanent archive.
Users should download and independently preserve important finished content.
Some provider-hosted generation URLs may expire, and deletion of an application record may not immediately remove every underlying copy from third-party infrastructure.
18. Account Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to:
- enforce these Terms;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- protect users or infrastructure;
- comply with law;
- address payment disputes or unauthorized transactions; or
- respond to security threats.
Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue.
19. Account Deletion
Storyboard Studio does not currently provide automated self-service account deletion.
You may request account deletion by contacting: support@storyboard-studio.ai
Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, billing and accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution and system integrity.
20. Storyboard Studio Intellectual Property
Storyboard Studio, including its software, interface, branding, workflows, proprietary prompt systems, processing architecture and other materials provided by Mini Motion Film LLC, is owned by or licensed to Mini Motion Film LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Your ownership of User Content does not grant you ownership of Storyboard Studio itself.
You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, extract, resell or commercially exploit Storyboard Studio's proprietary software or systems except as permitted by applicable law.
21. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback regarding Storyboard Studio, you permit us to use that feedback to improve or develop the Service without an obligation to compensate you.
This does not give us ownership of your User Content.
22. Third-Party Services
Storyboard Studio relies on third-party providers.
Your use of certain functionality may therefore also be subject to applicable third-party terms or policies.
Mini Motion Film LLC is not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by law.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Storyboard Studio is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or that AI-generated output will meet your expectations or intended purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mini Motion Film LLC and its officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of Storyboard Studio, including lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data or reliance on AI-generated output.
To the extent permitted by law, Mini Motion Film LLC's aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Storyboard Studio during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
25. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Mini Motion Film LLC and its officers, employees and affiliates from claims arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or your infringement of another person's rights.
26. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Storyboard Studio evolves.
If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, by email or through another reasonable method.
Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
