Storyboard Studio Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 7, 2026 · Last Updated: September 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Mini Motion Film LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Mini Motion Film,” “Storyboard Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, processes, stores, and shares information when you access or use Storyboard Studio, including our website at storyboard-studio.ai, applications, AI-generation features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
When you create or use a Storyboard Studio account, we may process information including your name, email address, user/account identifier, account role, authentication information managed by our platform provider, subscription and billing status, generation-credit activity, project ownership information, collaborator information, and timestamps associated with your activity.
We may also process content that you create, upload, submit, or generate through Storyboard Studio, including screenplays and scripts, storyboard and Scene Card information, prompts, dialogue, project metadata, character and location references, images, style references, audio files, video files, generated images and videos, and related project information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information as reasonably necessary to provide and operate Storyboard Studio, authenticate users, maintain accounts, process AI-generation requests, store and display projects, provide collaboration and sharing features, administer subscriptions and generation credits, process payments, maintain generation history, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, protect the security of the Service, enforce our Terms of Service, comply with legal obligations, and improve and maintain the Service.
3. Artificial Intelligence Processing
Storyboard Studio uses third-party technology and AI providers to provide its generation and analysis features.
Depending on the feature you use, your prompts, scripts, images, reference materials, audio, video, or other submitted content may be transmitted to service providers including Base44, ModelsLab, WaveSpeed, OpenAI, and AI models or infrastructure made available through Base44 for processing.
Storyboard Studio itself does not currently train its own AI models using customer content. However, third-party providers maintain their own data-processing, retention, and AI policies. We do not represent that every third-party provider follows the same retention or model-training practices as Storyboard Studio.
4. File Storage and Provider Access
Uploaded and generated media may be stored using Base44's storage and content-delivery infrastructure.
Some media URLs may be accessible to anyone who possesses the corresponding unguessable URL. Users should therefore avoid uploading material they are not authorized to process or information they do not wish to have processed as necessary to provide the Service.
In certain generation workflows, reference images may also be temporarily re-hosted through third-party file-relay services so an AI provider can retrieve them. The current application may use services including catbox.moe and tmpfiles.org for this purpose. Copies hosted by those services may remain subject to those providers' own retention practices.
5. Payments
Payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe.
Storyboard Studio does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe processes payment information and may provide Storyboard Studio with information such as customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, payment or charge identifiers, transaction status, and related billing information necessary to administer your account.
6. Authentication
Storyboard Studio currently supports email/password authentication and Google authentication through Base44.
Our platform provider manages authentication credentials, sessions, authentication tokens, password processing, email verification, and related account-authentication infrastructure.
7. When Information Is Shared
We may disclose or transmit information to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate Storyboard Studio, including providers of hosting, storage, authentication, payment processing, AI inference/generation, media processing and infrastructure.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect Storyboard Studio, Mini Motion Film LLC, our users, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats, or unlawful conduct.
Storyboard Studio does not currently sell users' personal information, and the production application currently contains no advertising or retargeting pixels.
8. Projects, Collaboration and Sharing
Projects are private by default and are protected by account-based authorization.
Storyboard owners may choose to provide other users with access to certain content through collaboration features. Storyboard Studio also supports token-based sharing functionality for certain read-only content.
Content intentionally shared through a public sharing feature may be accessible to anyone possessing the applicable sharing token or URL.
You are responsible for deciding what information you share and with whom.
9. Cookies and Local Storage
Storyboard Studio and Base44 may use authentication/session cookies necessary to keep users signed in and operate the Service.
Storyboard Studio also uses browser storage for certain functional preferences, such as interface preferences, walkthrough/dismissal settings and other application state.
The application does not currently implement third-party advertising pixels, custom advertising tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Base44 may independently process infrastructure-level usage information according to its own policies.
10. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate operational, security, billing, fraud-prevention, recordkeeping and legal purposes.
Users can delete certain projects, Scene Cards, frames, generation-history items, assets and videos through existing Storyboard Studio functionality.
Deletion of a record from Storyboard Studio does not necessarily cause immediate deletion of every underlying copy. Files stored on content-delivery infrastructure or third-party relay services may persist after the corresponding application record is deleted. Certain billing, credit-ledger, generation-task, subscription, security and rate-limit records may also be retained for system integrity, fraud prevention, accounting or legal purposes.
11. Account Deletion Requests
Storyboard Studio does not currently provide an automated account-deletion control.
Users may contact us at support@storyboard-studio.ai to request deletion of their account or personal information.
We will evaluate and process applicable requests subject to identity verification and any information we need or are permitted to retain for legal, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution or legitimate operational purposes.
12. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload to Storyboard Studio.
By submitting content to the Service, you authorize Mini Motion Film LLC to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process and provide that content to our service providers to the extent reasonably necessary to operate Storyboard Studio and provide the features you request.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your underlying uploaded content to Mini Motion Film LLC.
13. AI-Generated Content
Storyboard Studio allows users to create AI-generated content.
Users may use generated output for commercial purposes to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms and policies of applicable third-party AI providers.
Because laws concerning AI-generated material continue to develop, Mini Motion Film LLC does not guarantee that AI-generated output is copyrightable, exclusively owned by a user, unique, non-infringing, or eligible for intellectual-property protection.
Users are responsible for determining whether their intended use of generated material complies with applicable laws, third-party rights and applicable provider terms.
14. Security
We use administrative, technical and application-level safeguards designed to protect information processed through Storyboard Studio.
These include authentication, server-side authorization, customer-data isolation, restricted access to sensitive operations, server-side protection of provider credentials, rate limiting and separation of payment-card processing through Stripe.
However, no internet service, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
15. Age Requirement
Storyboard Studio is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly offer Storyboard Studio to children under 18. If we learn that information has been collected from a person under 18 contrary to this requirement, we may take appropriate steps to remove the information and terminate the associated account.
16. International Processing
The providers used to operate Storyboard Studio may process information in jurisdictions other than the jurisdiction in which you reside.
By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed by service providers in other locations, subject to applicable law and the providers' respective data-protection practices.
17. Legal Requirements and Protection of the Service
We may preserve, access or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or abuse, protect the security or integrity of Storyboard Studio, protect our legal rights, or protect users and the public.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Storyboard Studio evolves, including when we add providers, features, payment methods, storage systems or data-processing practices.
When material changes are made, we may update the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
